Tulsa King season 2 will build up on the events of season 1, where Dwight "The General" Manfredi was exiled to Tulsa by his mob bosses following a 25-year-long prison sentence. The first season saw how Dwight gathered together a bunch of misfits to set up a sprawling business empire in the region.

However, he was arrested by the FBI in the season finale of the first season in front of his daughter Tina (Tatiana Zappardino). The newly released trailer for Tulsa King season 2 revealed that Dwight is out of jail and is preparing to face a new set of enemies who have set their eyes upon his empire in Tulsa.

An excerpt from the logline of Tulsa King season 2 reads:

"Just as Dwight and his crew get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York."

Things will get more heated in the upcoming season of Tulsa King as the new rival is revealed to be Kansas City mobster Bill Bevilaqua (portrayed by Frank Grillo). Another rival added to the list is Cal Thresher (portrayed by Neal McDonough), a local businessman who is displeased with Dwight's growing criminal enterprise. Domenick Lombardozzi's character, Don Charles "Chickie" Invernizzi, will also remain a threat to Dwight. The new boss of the Invernizzi family was displeased about Dwight cutting off ties with them.

Tulsa King season 2 will also see the return of some major characters. Andrea Savage will return as ATF agent Stacy Beale, who was also Dwight's love interest in the first season. Joining her will be Martin Starr as Lawrence "Bodhi" Geigerman, Jay Will as Tyson Mitchell, Max Casella as Armand "Manny" Truisi, Tatiana Zappardino as Dwight's estranged daughter Tina, Dana Delany as Margaret Devereaux, and Garrett Hedlund as Mitch Keller.

Tulsa King is created by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
