Allie Shehorn filed a restraining order against Nick Pasqual three days before the attack

According to The Daily Mail, Allie Shehorn filed for a restraining order against her estranged boyfriend, Nick Pasqual, three days before he allegedly stabbed her.

The papers, which were filed on May 18, saw Shehorn accuse Pasqual of hitting her with a belt on January 29 and r*ping and choking her on April 14. Having been attacked on at least 4 occasions, caused Shehorn to file for a restraining order. The documents read:

"He [Pasqual] slapped me across the face and as I was trying to get away down the hallway, he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I slammed into the floor hitting the back of my head on the ground."

Shehorn claimed the incident left her with a concussion. Pasqual was arrested and charged with a felony but was released on bond that same day.

On May 23, Nick Pasqual allegedly broke into Shehorn's home in Sunland, California, at around 4:30 am and stabbed her 20 times. According to the New York Post, she was found with multiple slashes to her neck and cuts to her arms and abdomen.

Christine White, her surrogate mother, found the makeup artist and revealed that it was not "a pretty sight." White said:

“This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody. You don’t think this is ever going to happen to you. I found her and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened. That wasn’t a pretty sight.”
