Who is Gabriel Olds? TV star known for starring in Oscar-nominated film arrested over multiple assault allegations

Actor Gabriel Olds of NCIS has recently been charged with r*ping women after luring them in with his celebrity profile. After multiple women came forward with allegations, Olds was later charged with seven felonies and charges of s*xual assault on July 19.

On August 7, Olds was later placed under arrest following the issue of an arrest warrant by the Los Angeles Superior Court. It is stated that the alleged crimes took place between 2013 and 2023.

According to an NBC Los Angeles report, authorities said that a 41-year-old woman accused she was r*ped by the actor, prompting them to begin their investigation.

Gabriel Olds is an American actor and writer. He is the son of the poet Sharon Olds. He earned numerous credits in theater, television, and film and appeared in projects like Calendar Girl in 1993. He also portrayed Pat Robertson in The Eyes of Tammy Faye, which was nominated for the Oscars in 2021.

Gabriel Olds, a Hollywood actor, was born in New York, USA, on March 24, 1972. Not much is known about Olds' background, however, he is known to have a degree from Yale University.

At the age of 15, Olds had his stage debut in 1987 in a production of Measure for Measure. He was cast in 14 Going on 30 shortly after that. Olds appeared on an episode of Law & Order in 1993.

Olds reportedly debuted on Broadway in Any Given Day in 1993. In addition, he played a supporting role in the Civil War prison camp miniseries Andersonville. Apart from this, he acted in projects like Sisters, Party of Five, and Charmed.

After that, Gabriel Olds also appeared in the political drama D.C. in 2000. Later that year, he appeared in the independent drama Urbania. Additional credits include roles in the television series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Numb3rs, and Private Practice.

Olds also filmed Winters and Conspiracy in 2007. He further starred in Heroes and The Event. He then appeared on Surrogates, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds. Apart from appearing in all of CBS's NCIS series, like NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, and NCIS: Los Angeles, he also had a recurring role on HBO's Boardwalk Empire.

Olds was nominated six times for different awards and won two Best Actor awards from the LADCC and LA Weekly Theater Awards. He received a Tony Award for Best Play Revival for one of his Broadway productions. Another film starring Olds, Apartment 407, won the best picture award at the San Diego International Film Festival in 2017.


Many women came forward to accuse the actor of s*xual abuse

According to authorities, the first report about the actor's alleged s*xual abuse came from a 41-year-old woman, who reported to the police that the event took place in her Los Angeles home in January 2023.

Later, two more women reported Olds to the police for allegedly s*xually assaulting them. In addition to these three women, two other women reported less violent s*xual actions, according to police records.

As per the victims, Gabriel Olds set up dates and met these women through dating apps by taking advantage of his reputation as an actor and Ivy League alumni. Some of the victims stated that the first interactions seemed ordinary but quickly turned violent.

The Los Angeles Superior Court then issued a $3.5 million warrant for his arrest. Nevertheless, the actor or his representatives didn’t say anything about the allegations of s*xual abuse.
