Who is Juliette Angelo? NCIS star claims James Franco behaved inappropriately with her when she was a minor

Musician and former child actor Juliette Angelo claimed that actor James Franco allegedly behaved inappropriately with her when she was a minor. Angelo and Franco worked on the 2016 science fiction show named 11.22.63.

In a TikTok interview, Angelo shared her experience of working with Franco and said that he took pictures of her without her consent, held a prolonged handshake with her, and often called her "precocious". She recalled:

“I worked on a show called 11.22.63… James Franco was the star of it…. He would take pictures of me this entire time on his iPad [without my consent]... ”

Juliette Angelo is a well-known actor known for her roles in Trial of the Chicago 7 (2020), NCIS (2013–2021), Shameless (2017–2020), and ABC's Malibu Country (2012–2013). Angelo made her Broadway debut in Manhattan at eight.

At the age of eight, Juliette Angelo began appearing in Broadway musicals in New York City. Then, between the ages of 13 and 21, she began her acting career in Los Angeles. She appeared in the Tony Award-winning original cast of Billy Elliot, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Mary Poppins. She was also a regular in Malibu Country along with Sara Rue.

In an interview with KTVQ on October 31, 2023, Angelo spoke about the abuse she endured at the hands of her parents and her negative experience of working in the entertainment industry as a child star.

“I was exposed to so many horrific things so young. As a kid, I was never taught safety. How can you be when you’re in a household full of the people they’re telling you to avoid? The people your parents teach you to not go near, or trust, are the people I’m growing up with," she said.

According to the NCIS actor, her childhood was a difficult time for her. She gave examples of being taught what to think and feel, how much to weigh, and how to look. She eventually left acting and started pursuing music. In 2022, she released Fields of Tennessee, her first solo album, which was followed by her first song, If.

After a few years of relocating to other cities, Angelo decided to drive from Albuquerque in New Mexico to Billings in Montana. She is now concentrating on her musical career. She opened for Carly Pearce at MontanaFair in the summer of 2024.

Juliette Angelo made serious allegations against actor James Franco

Juliette Angelo recently made the news after claiming that years ago, James Franco allegedly misbehaved with her.

While telling the story via TikTok, she alleged that one day, a woman on the set informed her that Franco was allegedly taking her pictures. She then continued:

“I was on set and she said, congratulations, you might make the Instagram… She said, James, like he's been taking pictures of you the whole time.. ”

She further shared how Franco interfered during her shoots:

“It was me and the boy that I was working with Braden… And I wound up having to kiss him and make out with him in a closet... He (Franco) was taking pictures of us doing that like over the closet… He tapped on Braden's shoulder... And he asked him if he could step in for him…”

These allegations came four years after James Franco acknowledged engaging in s*xual relations with his students while working as an acting school teacher. In 2018, the Los Angeles Times revealed that five women had reportedly accused Franco of taking advantage of them s*xually while he was posing as their mentor or teacher.
