Popular Broadway star, Ken Page, died on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 70. While the cause of Page's death has yet to be revealed, his longtime friend, Dorian Hannaway, confirmed the news of his death on Facebook.
"Ken Page has passed onto the next show. My heart is broken,” Dorian wrote.
As Dorian posted the update on the platform, several netizens and colleagues shared their condolences. Many said that they were sorry for the actor's death, while some claimed that they couldn't believe that Page was dead.
Ken Page was born in January 1954 in St. Louis and started his Broadway career in 1975, when he was cast in The Wiz.
He went on to do other shows, including Guys and Dolls, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Cats, and It Ain’t Nothing But The Blues. He was also a part of several off-Broadway shows as well as regional theater shows.

The shows included Gimme a Break, Polly, Capital News, Adventures in Wonderland, Duckman, Touched By an Angel, Great Performances, All Grow Up, and State of Mind.
Page won many awards, including the Theatre World Award and the Drama Desk Award.
