Right before the year's end, Marvel Animation treated fans with the first trailer of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. The animated series will be following Peter Parker as he becomes the iconic Wallcrawler from Marvel Comics and fights crime in New York City. The show in particular will be focusing on his first year as a crime fighter as he struggles with his school life as well.
The first trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man showcases a cell-shaded art style with vibrant colors that tease a fun and quirky take on the character. It will also feature an already established Marvel Universe where superheroes already exist as it won't be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The upcoming Marvel animated series is created by Jeff Trammell for Disney+. It will be the twelfth television series to be produced by Marvel Studios and will be released under the Marvel Animation banner. The official synopsis for the series reads as:
"Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots."
