A recap till now

Much of Only Murders in the Building season 4 has revolved around a biopic about the Arconia trio, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel, and the apparent assassination of Charles-Haden Savage’s old friend and colleague Sazz. Halfway through the fourth season, the case remains wide open, and Charles, Oliver, and Mabel believe the person who killed Sazz is almost certainly involved in the making of the biopic.

Towards the end of the last episode, we see Charles and Mabel make a shocking discovery. Charles had an epiphany that Sazz was killed by two people: one person fired the gun, while the other cleaned up the crime scene and disposed of the body. This all started to make even more sense when Mabel noticed that the footprint from the crime scene matched Tawny Brother's. But just as they are about to approach her, she suddenly disappears and gunshots ring out. The screen turns black, and a panicked voice then breaks out,

“Oh my God, they’ve been shot.”
