As the treasure hunt is far from over, Outer Banks season 4 calls fans back to Poguelandia for a new thrilling adventure. Created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, Outer Banks debuted on Netflix on April 15, 2020. However, it wasn’t until the second season’s release on July 30, 2021, that the show topped the Nielsen U.S. streaming charts, ranking #1.
With both seasons combined, the series accumulated 2.1 billion viewing minutes of its 20 episodes in the first week of August 2021 and 1.16 billion minutes in the second week of the month. The impressive milestone led the series to be renewed for a third season that premiered on February 23, 2023.
Unlike the first two seasons, the third didn’t manage to maintain its charm, garnering a mixed-to-average rating of 53% on Rotten Tomatoes. As Pogues' story continues, Outer Banks season 4 is nearing, taking them to deep oceans where they may hit the greatest historical jackpot. Follow along with the article to learn more.
When will Outer Banks season 4 be released?
Outer Banks season 4 will hit the shores on October 10, 2024. However, surprisingly there’s a catch – the fourth installment will be released in two parts.
While the first part drops on October 10 with five episodes, the second one will roll out on November 7, 2024, with the remaining five installments. Nevertheless, the fourth season will have the same episode count.
