Outlander season 7 episode 11 was titled A Hundredweight of Stones, and it saw Claire carrying on with the wedding to Lord John for her safety and the safety of the people she loved. In the time of grief, they found comfort in each other. One night, they slept together while processing their grief, thinking of each other as Jamie's stand-in. But before they caught up to him, William overheard John talking about him being Jamie's son. When he confronted both his biological and adoptive fathers, the soldiers arrived looking for Jamie. However, before they could arrest him, Jamie pretended to kidnap John so he could flee the scene.
The previous episode also saw Rob Cameron admitting to kidnapping Jamie and even trying to kidnap Brianna as well. However, it ended with Brianna whacking him unconscious with a frying pan.

Outlander season 7 episode 12 is titled Carnal Knowledge, and it will see the aftermath of Jamie Fraser's return, especially where Claire and Lord John Grey are concerned. When Claire and John slept together, they believed Jamie was dead.
