The story also explores new video and photographic evidence that shows Rusty at the scene of the crime before Caroyln's murder. When Rusty combs through the footage, he sees his son, Kyle (Kingston Rumi Southwick) in the picture.

Who was at Carolyn's house at the end of Presumed Innocent episode 3?

Presumed Innocent episode 3 shows that new evidence has surfaced against Rusty Sabich, played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Carolyn's son, Michael (Tate Birchmore), confronts Rusty and tells him that he recorded photographs and videos of him at Carolyn's house the night of the murder. Michael submits these as proof to the police, and Rusty gets access to them after the prosecution and defense both submit their evidence to court.

While looking through the pictures, Rusty analyses the pictures to see where he is visible in the frame. He notices a blurry figure apart from him in the photos. When he zooms in, Rusty recoils with shock as he realizes it is his son Kyle.

This raises many questions to be resolved in the next episode. What was Kyle doing at Carolyn Polhemus' house the night of the murder? Did Kyle see his father Rusty do something? Was Kyle involved in Carolyn's homicide in any way? The next episode is expected to give viewers more insight into Kyle's perspective.

Given the suspense ending, the next episode shall likely start with Rusty asking his son Kyle about his whereabouts, and what he was doing at Carolyn's house on the fateful night. Hopefully for Rusty, Kyle is innocent, but his presence might become a focal point for the prosecution to make a case against Rusty.

The prosecution lawyer Tommy Molto (Peter Saarsgard), will also try to step up his game after his conversation with his boss Nico Della Guardia (OT Fagbenle). Tommy is set to interview Michael and deepen the complexities of the case.

At present, the show has also not fully clarified whether Rusty is innocent or not. While he keeps asserting that he is not the murderer, the evidence seems to build up against him in every episode. With the recent revelation that he hit Carolyn with a poker in the head, the next episode might also focus on Rusty's psyche and claim of innocence equally.

The first three episodes of Presumed Innocent are streaming exclusively on Apple TV+, with new episodes released every Wednesday.
