Reginald the Vampire season 2 episode 10 titled Just Like Heaven aired on July 10, 2024. The recently released episode served as the season finale, and it finally gave fans a glimpse of Reginald's superpower, which Balestro had given him in episode 9 before he went back to heaven.

In the previous episode, viewers saw Reginald plotting against Uriel to avenge Sarah after Balestro withdrew the threat on the vamps. Previously on Reginald the Vampire, Uriel kissed the life out of Sarah, who is dead and is now in a place between places.

However, in the latest installment of Reginald the Vampire, Reginald does not kill Uriel. Instead, he forgives him for killing Sarah and Mike. Uriel too begs for forgiveness from God and Reginald answers his prayers by forgiving him. However, Sarah does not do the same.

Later in the episode, Uriel takes him to Sarah. Now Reginald and Sarah are stuck in the heavenly loop and have to find a way back. The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Sarah sees herself as a vampire in the toaster-induced dream.

Uriel, who had killed Mike and also Sarah recently, is seen kneeling in the church, begging for forgiveness. Uriel is now in a miserable state and wants God the Father to tell him why he feels this way. Viewers see the other side of Uriel in the season 2 finale and wonder if he is sorry for his sins. The scene also sheds light on how anger and jealousy can also consume heavenly beings like angels.

At the beginning of the episode, Reginald talks to Maurice about how he wants to kill Uriel by plucking his feathers and burning him alive. However, when he finally sees Uriel in the church, Reginald uses his superpower to pause him but does not kill him. Reginald is not capable of murdering an angel, although the same angel killed his friends and lovers.

He then goes on to forgive Uriel. Reginald once again sets an example of how the vampire species can truly evolve. This also portrays how some vamps are greater than angels, whether in thoughts or words.

Reginald's superpower

In the latest episode, fans get to see Reginald's superpower. He first pauses Todd in the slushy shack, and later, he pauses Penelope, LeBron, and finally Uriel.

For now, Reginald is aware that he can pause one person at a time using this superpower. However, it is still uncertain how this Balestro-given gift will be effective during the war, which Claire has prophesied.

Mike comes back for a while and meets Todd

In the season 2 finale of Reginald the Vampire, after the Slushy Shack gets shaken up, Mike appears as a ghost to Todd. While he does not know how he has come back, he enjoys the moment. The two cannot hold hands and hug but can at least talk to each other.

However, later, when Maurice comes looking for Reginald, Mike vanishes and does not return, leaving Todd sad and wondering if he will ever show up again.

Sarah sees herself as a vampire

Sarah and Reginald go to their favorite park after the mysterious stairway to heaven leads them there. The two talk with the wish-granting toaster, who tells them a way in which both of them can go home. However, there will be consequences. Sarah first has a toaster-induced dream, in which she dreams of being back in the mortal world, and it all looks so real for once.

Later, Reginald also has the same dream, in which he goes looking for Sarah. When they finally meet, Sarah opens the window and as the sun touches her skin, she screams and says, "I am a mother**cking vampire."

Maurice fulfills his duties

Throughout the episode, Maurice is the best wingman. He helps and guides Reginald and also gives him valuable insight. Maurice also convinces Angela to walk the right path.

Later in the episode, Angela decides to stay with him, as when the war comes, Maurice will surely need him and so will Reginald and others. At this point, Maurice seems to care more about Reginald and the vamps than Reginald himself.

Will Reginald and Sarah find a way back?

The toaster showed Reginald and Sarah that the only way they can come back is if they maintain the balance of life. Reginald has two lives: one of a vamp and one of a human. He needs to give one of his lives to Sarah. The dream shows Sarah's life as a vampire and that is perhaps the only way they can get back to earth.

Fans now wonder if there is another way in which Reginald can go back as a vamp and Sarah as a human. While this remains the question of the hour, viewers will get answers only in possible future seasons of Reginald the Vampire.

Reginald and Sarah will definitely find a way back but fans will have to wait and see how and when. It is also important to consider if Sarah will be happy if she becomes a vampire.

Now with Claire's prophecy, the vamps and Maurice will need Reginald by their side to save the vamps from self-doom. Hence, Reginald has to find a quick way back in the possible next installment of Reginald the Vampire.

While there is currently no official information on season 3 of Reginald the Vampire, fans can watch season 2 on the SYFY network.
