No, the vampires will not die anytime soon on the show. In the latest episode of Reginald the Vampire, Balestro steps back after hearing Claire's prophecy. While Balestro is no longer a threat to them, the vampires will soon be a threat to themselves.

Reginald and Maurice save the vamps initially and Abraham shows up and so does Claire. It is a perfect night for Reginald and his comrades as they get saved for the time being but the real question is for how long?

Balestro arrives, declaring that heavenly fire will soon wipe out all vampires. Reginald and Maurice try to reason with him in the courtroom, arguing that vampires have evolved and citing Uriel as a flawed angel. Despite their arguments, Balestro remains determined to kill all vampires.

Abraham, Balestro's son, arrives to help the vampires. He initially fights with Balestro, but Reginald stops them. Abraham sides with the vampires, angering Balestro, who warns that Abraham will die with them if he continues to support them.

Claire arrives

Claire comes to save the day with her prophecy. Although she eventually pretends to predict the future in front of Balestro, her nose starts to bleed and her eyes roll up. Claire prophecies how the vampires will kill each other in a gory war.

To save them, a sacrifice will be important. Reginald will have to kill himself for them. Will Reginald kill himself in the future to be a vamp messiah or will he come up with a new plan? We will get to know his fate in upcoming episodes or the next season.

After hearing Claire out, Balestro goes back and the vampires are saved for the time being, which calls for celebration. But how long? We will find the out soon. For now, the vamps can celebrate their temporary victory.

Soon after Balestro calls off his plan of killing the vamps after hearing Claire's prophecy, he is seen alongside Reginald in the Slushy Shack. He tells Reginald to hold his hand and gives him a parting gift, which Reginald has no knowledge about. Initially, Reginald hesitates to shake hands with Balestro but later does anyway.

Will Balestro turn Reginald into an angel like him? Or will he trick Reginald? Angels are known for their good deeds, therefore we will get to know in the upcoming episodes about this parting gift and Reginald's future.

Sarah's fate

Sarah avoids the gift shop door, feeling unready to embrace heaven. Meanwhile, Mike, confident that Reginald has saved the vampires, decides to pass through the door to move on in his afterlife. Believing he has lived long enough, he embraces the light. Whether Mike actually goes to heaven remains unknown.

Sarah on the other hand is left in the same room surrounded by her portraits. Will she find a way back to Reginald or is she gone forever from the mortal plane? This is another question of the hour that will be answered in the upcoming episodes or the next season.

Reginald vs Uriel

With the vamp's extinction no longer in the pictures, Reginald will soon try to find and kill Uriel as he reveals to Maurice in the final moments of this episode. It will be interesting to see how Reginald fights Uriel and avenges Sarah. With Balestro's unrevealed gift, Reginald might have the upper hand in his fight against Uriel.

It will also be interesting to see how Reginald plans to save the vampires and himself from the upcoming war as predicted by Claire. What if he dies while he tries to kill Uriel? Will his beef with Uriel start the war that Claire was talking about or is this just personal and nothing related to the prophecy? We can expect answers to all of these questions in the upcoming episodes.

What is next for the Vamps?

After this episode, the vamps feel a lot safer as Balestro is no longer a threat. However, Claire's prediction will come true someday and the war has to be stopped before that. Will the vampire species evolve for good and stop this future war? Well, we have ample time to think about that.

For now, it will be interesting to see how Reginald finds Uriel and then makes him pay for killing Sarah.
