The idea of a multiverse is explored by Rick and Morty in practically every season. We can see from the trailer of Rick and Morty: The Anime, which came out on July 11, 2024, that the anime version's producers are attempting to depict a new kind of art, one that will be more cartoonish. This spinoff anime series will adapt the theme and events of Rick and Morty (2013–present).

As the trailer suggests, one of the multiverses must be anime. The program is embracing a more anime-like style of art. In this anime version of Rick and Morty, viewers will see all the classic adventures of Rick and Morty but in an anime-illustrated design. It will be more of an Asian-style animation than an American-style animation.

Rick and Morty: The Anime will be directed by Japanese animator and director Takashi Sano. For the English version, Joe Daniels will voice Rick, while Gabriel Regojo will voice Morty; for the Japanese version, Youhei Tadano will voice Rick, and Keisuke Chiba will do so for Morty.

It continues:

"Keep an eye out for our Rickmobile and Mortymobile as they cruise across the country and wrack up various toll tickets to celebrate the expansion of the ‘Rick and Morty’ universe.”
