The Rings of Power Season 2: What has happened so far?

The first three episodes of The Rings of Power season 2 follow the crafty schemes of Sauron as he is bent on achieving his goal of ruling Middle-Earth. In the first episode, he tries to enlist the help of the orcs. The attempt proves disastrous.

For instance, it is found out that Isildur is alive, and together with a new friend, Arondir, he sets out for Pelargir.
