SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 7 will be released next Sunday, September 15, 2024, and it promises higher stakes for both the Bravo Team as they face more dangerous missions and for Jason, who is facing a family crisis.

There are only a few episodes left until the series finale, and Bravo's dynamic was tested in the previous episode. It's the first time the team worked on a new op without Master Chief, and Ray, aka Mako-1, wasn't on the ground with them as well. This left the team in slight shambles as they grappled with their new volatile dynamic.

Meanwhile, David Boreanaz's Jason Hayes is in the middle of a family crisis after he discovers his son's drug use. At this point, viewers can expect major themes to start hitting the fan in the upcoming SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 7.

A brief recap of SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 6

SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 6 kicked off with a tense new dynamic for the Bravo Team. They are facing their new mission without their leader, Master Chief Jason Hayes, aka Bravo 1, for the first time this season. And with Jason stateside, Ray steps into the leader role. But before he can join Bravo on the ground in their new mission in Cambodia, he gets roped into negotiations to get the extradition request they need to bring Jun Yilin onto Thailand soil.

So, without Ray to lead the team as Jason's supposed OIC, the rest of Bravo grapples with who gets to call the shots. As Bravo 2, Omar is understandably on top of their ranking, but the team of highly-trained, experienced Navy SEALs isn't likely to adjust to new leadership in a single snap. As seen in Episode 6, during their snatch-and-grab mission to capture Yilin, the team, mainly Omar, Sonny, and Drew, argues about differing opinions and calls in the middle of their operation.

While they managed to capture Yilin, another hit team is on their tail. They get into a gunfight before Ray, still at the negotiating table, helps them get into a safe house. However, the safe house wasn't secure because the other team found them and plotted an ambush. Ray, who wants to be with his team instead of sitting idle in an office, is understandably upset.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Bravo Team work out their differences and work as a team to fight against their intruders. In the end, they do what they do best and complete the mission.

Stateside, Jason is in a crisis because, after Mikey's ACL surgery, he finds him unconscious in bed after an overdose. While he has kept Mikey from overdosing on his painkillers, he soon finds out that his son has been using a street drug.

What to expect in SEAL Team Season 7 Episode 7

The next episode, "Mission Creep," promises to dig deeper into the new Bravo Team's world. Jason's discovery of his son's drug use means he's not likely to leave his side while he's still in the hospital recovering. This means Bravo will continue to carry out new high-stakes missions without Bravo 1.

The hint of tension between the Bravo Team members can continue to push their limits and test their trust in each other. Embarking on new missions, especially now that their target is in custody, could redefine their new roles and relationships within the team.
