Severance season 2 is set to premiere on January 17, 2025, at 3 am EST, exclusively on Apple TV+. Fans of the psychological thriller can look forward to weekly episodes every Friday, culminating in the season finale on March 21, 2025.

Having ten episodes, this season adds one more episode than its first one, providing more suspense and Lumon Industries revelations. All of the episodes can be streamed straight on Apple TV+.

The highly anticipated season follows Mark Scout (Adam Scott), his Lumon Industries coworkers who underwent the controversial "severance" procedure, and their friends and family.

Due to the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes, Severance season 2 took much longer than planned. The movie was shot again in January 2024 and was done by April 2024. The plot of Severance

Production and direction

Dan Erickson was the creator of the second season of Severance, which Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle directed. Filming was temporarily suspended in May 2023 due to the 2023 writers' and actors' strikes, which disrupted production.

It recommenced in January 2024 and concluded in April 2024. The program has preserved its exceptional production values, exemplified by its meticulous attention to design, music, and storytelling.
