"She got her lick back"— The Boys fan hype up Starlight's clutch comeback in the latest episode

Season 4 episode 7 of The Boys, The Insider, aired on July 11, 2024. Fans and viewers got a glimpse of Starlight and Butcher engaging in a fight with The Deep and Blacknoir. A-Train and Mother's Milk later enter the scene. Mother's Milk takes down Blacknoir after Butcher fails to do the same, and Starlight knocks out The Deep.

In season one of The Boys, when Starlight came in the Seven, The Deep s**ually abused her, and later, to justify his misogynistic behavior, he said that whoever would be a newcomer in the group would have to respect him in whatever way he likes and wants to be pleased.

The Deep is one of the most demented Supes on the show, who has always abused his position and is hungry for fame. Even though he abuses Starlight, he has never apologized for his actions and toxic behavior.

In the latest episode of The Boys, Starlight finally gets her payback. Fans on X seem to have liked how Starlight knocked him out with multiple blows and a coup de grace with a shield-like heavy object. A fan, impressed by Starlight's recent comeback, commented on X and said,

"Just glad she got her lick back like this was a long time coming!"

A fan who was unhappy with The Deep's egoistical monologue before he had this fight commented about the same and wrote why Deep deserved to get knocked out.

"Nah his lil monologue in the beginning too?? she had to get her lick back by any means necessary."

In season 4 of The Boys, Starlight's powers are not effective anymore. It is because of her mental state and emotional health, which took a toll recently when Firecracker revealed her private medical information.

In season 4 episode 4 of The Boys, Firecracker got hold of Starlight's medical records and revealed to everyone on television that she had an abortion, which made her lose support as her public reputation degraded.

The loss of her powers is because of the psychological block, which made her lose confidence and affected her emotionally. However, after the recent encounter with The Deep, fans can hope that her powers will return soon.
