Dalgliesh is a British crime drama based on P.D. James' novels. Bertie Carvel stars as Detective Chief Inspector Adam Dalgliesh, a poet and widower in 1970s England. Using his intelligence and empathy, Dalgliesh investigates complex crimes, uncovering the darkest aspects of human nature.
Dalgliesh visits a distant seminary in the first two episodes where a slain archdeacon has been discovered. In order to discover their killer, he must unravel a complex web of motives. In episodes 3 and 4, the detective looks into a murder in the Essex house of the Mehtas, a wealthy family with ties to the British government. Season 3 features a special guest cast ensemble.

In 2015, criminal profiler Park Hae-young (Lee Je-hoon) discovers a mysterious walkie-talkie connecting him to Detective Jae-han (Cho Jin-woong) from the past. Together, they solve a 15-year-old kidnapping and murder case. The British police procedural and serial drama Line of Duty focuses on Anti-Corruption Unit 12 (AC-12), a group within a made-up police department entrusted with "policing the police".
