Lucasfilm is set to premiere the first two episodes of its upcoming Skeleton Crew on December 2, 2024, at 6 am Pacific Standard Time on Disney+. The series will be taking place years before the events of Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens and a few years after the events of Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.
Skeleton Crew will be inspired by the early days of Amblin Entertainment films like The Goonies and will be bringing an adventurous spirit to the Star Wars universe. The series will focus on four kids as they go on an adventure alongside a charming Force user when they get lost in the galaxy.

Jude Law as Jod Na Nawood
English actor Jude Law will be making his debut in the Star Wars universe by leading the cast of Skeleton Crew. In the show, he will be playing the role of Jod Na Nawood, who is being described as a charming man who can get out of any situation. He will also be a Force user. Fans will, of course, know Law from The Talented Mr. Ripley and the Sherlock Holmes films.
Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim
American actor Ravi Cabot-Conyers will be portraying the role of Wim in the upcoming Star Wars show. He will be leading the main cast of children in the series. He will also be the one who makes the discovery that sends him and his friends onto the journey in space.
Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern
Actress Ryan Kiera Armstrong will be appearing in the series as Fern. She will be joining Wim on his journey and will get lost in space alongside the other three children. Prior to appearing in Skeleton Crew, the American actress also appeared in the film Firestarter and was also a part of the anthology series American Horror Story: Red Tide.
Tune Adebimpe as Wendle
Actor Tune Adebimpe will appear as Wendle in the upcoming Star Wars series. Wendle is Wim's father, who grows concerned for his son's safety after he disappears off into space. Fans will be able to recognize Tune Adebimpe as he is best known for being the lead singer of the band TV on the Radio.
Kerry Condon as Fara
Irish actress and Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon will be a part of Skeleton Crew as well. She will be playing the role of Fara, Kern's mother, and will be a major player in the series as well. Best known for her recent role in The Banshees of Inisherin, Condon is also known for voicing Tony Stark's AI voice, F.R.I.D.A.Y., in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
