Zarah Fahrami played by Sheila Vand has been part of the show since season 1 and was a full-time cast member until season 4. In the new season, she appeared as a guest star. Zarah died in Snowpiercer season 4 episode 1 when she was pushed off the cliff by a man.

Who was Zarah Fahrami on Snowpiercer?

Zarah Fahrami was played by Sheila Vand from Snowpiercer season 1 to season 4.

Zarah is the ex-wife of Andre Layton who didn’t want to live a poverty life and left everything behind to work as a bartender in the Nightcar. Zarah’s decision to join as bartender was not appreciated by her community and Layton.

She didn’t know earlier that she was pregnant with Layton’s child and understood her responsibility being a mother, so she resolved things with Layton and moved back to start a new life with him.

Continuing that in the second season, she joined the hospitality team to help Layton and Ruth Wardell get along. Layton finally created a separate pirate train, but Zarah decided to stay behind, as she thought it would be safer as Joseph Wilford won't harm her because she was pregnant.

In season 3, Zarah let the scientists of Wilford perform a experiment on her unborn child that would make the baby more resistant to extremely low temperatures. Finally, she gave birth to a girl child known as Liana Layton.

Zarah’s storyline ended in Snowpiercer season 4 episode 1 with her death, which will lead to new rivalries, action and revenge.
