Snowpiercer season 4 episode 7: A brief recap
Explosion at the New Eden bridge
The situation becomes very intense in New Eden in Snowpiercer season 4 episode 7, when Oz finds out the real plan of the Animal Squad. Instead of digging graves, they have been putting bombs in place to cause an avalanche that would blow the town.
Javi and the others quickly try to stop Ruth from driving Big Alice across a bridge that might have bombs on it. While Javi checks the bridge, he finds a bomb and tries to freeze it to stop it from exploding. Even though he tries hard, Ruth and Till see a big explosion far away, and everyone is left wondering if the bridge has exploded and if Javi is safe.
Nima's planning and plotting
In Snowpiercer season 4 episode 7, the viewers see Nima's true role in creating the Ice Age, which makes his character even more mysterious. It is discovered that he was the one who made CW-7, the substance that froze the Earth and led to the miseries of the ones who are alive.
Nima has secretly been working on something called Gemini for the past 15 years, and no one knows what it is his motive behind the mission. While some might think he is trying to reverse the effects of climate change, his refusal to listen to Melanie's warnings suggests he may have more sinister intentions.
The hanging fate of Layton and his family
The most shocking event of Snowpiercer season 4 episode 7, happens when Wilford disconnects the car with Layton, Josie, and Liana inside, leaving them to face the cold outside.
Even though Melanie and Layton manage to return to Snowpiercer, Wilford's betrayal means they are now alone and stuck in the cold, with not much hope of making it. The train leaves ahead leaving the fate of Layton and his friends uncertain.
With only three episodes of season 4 left to air it looks like the characters might not have a happy ending. Nima's risky plans, the mystery about the New Eden explosion, and the uncertain future of Layton's family make the situation more tense and dramatic.
