Recap of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 6
The episode began with the kids escaping the trash compactor and deciding how to flee Lanupa. However, KB and Fern clashed when KB expressed frustration that Fern didn’t consider her disability. The group then split up to return to their ship, with Fern and Neel climbing a mountain while Wim and KB followed a group of space crabs.
On Lanupa, Jod was arrested by the pirates and sentenced to death. To save himself, he promised them unimaginable riches, claiming he could lead them to At Attin, where the Old Imperial mint would provide endless wealth. The pirates spared Jod's life but warned that betrayal would result in his death.
Back on Lanupa, KB's systems began failing, but Wim managed to repair her. He then persuaded her to make amends with Fern. However, they encountered a giant space crab. Just in time, Fern and Neel saved them, but the Onyx Cinder ended up in a trash compartment. Fern and KB reconciled and embraced, resolving their differences.
The trash compactor began consuming the ship, but Fern used the Hull Detonation button to save everyone, revealing a brand-new outer layer of the ship. The episode concluded with the kids flying off into space.
