Recap of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew episode 7
In the episode, the kids' parents send a message into space only to be detained by the authorities. The kids make it outside At Attin's barrier, but the Onyx Cinder is pulled in by the pirates into their big ship. Jod convinces Brutus that the Cinder is required to get into At Attin, and when Brutus goes to get the ship, Jod kills him. He then becomes the new leader of the pirates and arrests the kids.
However, at the same time, the kids receive their parents' message. They tell them that to get into At Attin, they require a Republic Emissary. However, since the ship is already an At Attin ship, they can easily get past the barrier. Fern then decides to reclaim the captain's position from Jod and SM-33 agrees, causing him to throw all the pirates out. He then helps the kids get back home.
But in the end, Jod reveals that he got back into the ship, beheads SM-33 with his lightsaber, and arrests the kids. He then pretends to be a Republic Emissary and lands on At Attin. From there, he is taken to the vault below, where he is shown the treasury. The episode ends with the kids reuniting with their parents and Jod walking up to them with his lightsaber.
