After what seems like an eternity, Stranger Things season 5 finally has a huge update that may finally intrigue the fans of this long-running Netflix show. Of what could be the most anticipated season of any show in the history of streaming, Stranger Things season 5 has revealed the name of its eight episodes, some of which also hint at certain developments.

Revealed through a stylish teaser, which mimics the intro sequence of Stranger Things, the eight episode names were revealed one after another, and it ended with a confirmation that the show will come out in 2025.

As per the teaser's revelations, the season will kick off with an episode titled The Crawl and will conclude with an episode titled The Rightside Up.

Earlier, there were doubts about whether the series would be released in 2025, but now Netflix has confirmed it, putting the doubts to bed. More details about the upcoming final season of the acclaimed Netflix show are slated to arrive soon.

What are the episode names of Stranger Things season 5?

The eight-episode final season has dropped all the episode names in its latest teaser. The full list of episodes is as follows-

  • Episode 1 - The Crawl
  • Episode 2 - The Vanishing Of...
  • Episode 3 - The Turnbow Trap
  • Episode 4 - Sorcerer
  • Episode 5 - Shock Jock
  • Episode 6 - Escape from Camazotz
  • Episode 7 - The Bridge
  • Episode 8 - The Rightside Up

As many fans would remember, the first episode's title was revealed long back, but there weren't many intriguing announcements since then.

Interestingly, only the second episode's title seemed to be incomplete in the title sequence. That seemed to be intentional, as the title may be a big spoiler of some kind but wouldn't stop fans from speculating for some time to come.

Moreover, there are already some theories springing up about the final episode's title, with many believing that the title could hint at a potentially happy ending. This is because The Rightside Up seems to be a clever play on the term "Upside Down," which has been used to denote the darker, more sinister, alternative world that houses the horrors we see in Stranger Things.

Stranger Things season 5 will finish the long-drawn saga of Hawkins

The fifth season was always set to be the biggest and most ambitious season of the Netflix show. Not only did it plan to finish the story of the characters, but it was also set to be a cinematic experience like no other.

However, the SAG-AFTRA strike significantly delayed the fifth season after the unprecedented success of the fourth one. The strike pushed the production back so much that things only got underway earlier this year.

This left doubts about the show's return but Netflix has finally confirmed that it will be returning sometime in 2025, and hopefully early in 2025.

As we inch closer to the release date of Stranger Things season 5, you can expect to learn much more about this final round in Hawkins.
