What happens in Superman & Lois season 4 episode 4?
Clark is back
Superman & Lois season 4 episode 4 opens with Clark flying back to the Kent farm and reuniting with Lois and the kids. This leads to Clark being caught up in what happened since he was dead, and three weeks have passed since. He then takes Jonathan for training, with Jordan not coming along with them, and then learns that Jonathan is already well versed with his powers and joins to fly with him.
However, while flying, Clark's heart skips a beat, which causes him to fall down. Back home, he tells Lois about this and the latter grows concerned about his condition, but Clark reassures her that it's nothing to worry about.
To bring some levity to their lives, Lois then notifies them that she offered Chriss to hold her and Kyle's wedding at their barn, and thus they start getting to the wedding preparations.
Jordan, on the other hand, is still in shock over Lois choosing Jonathan to be saved. However, the two have a conversation and Lois reassures Jordan that it was only because Jonathan didn't have powers then and that she still loves him equally. Jordan then decides what he must do next in his life.
Trouble in paradise
While the wedding preparations continue in Superman & Lois season 4 episode 4, Chrissy starts getting cold feet about the wedding. Her mother is already suspicious about Kyle, and then realizing how fast things are going, Chrissy leaves the wedding unprompted, which leads Lois to go and find her.
When Lois finds Chrissy, she tells her that she left the wedding because she isn't sure about how fast things are going with Kyle and that she barely knows him. However, she does admit that she still loves him and wants to be with him. Lois then tells her to tell Kyle the same.
Chrissy is then taken back to the farm, where she tells Kyle what she told Lois, and Kyle agrees that they can put off the wedding for a bit, but that the decorations have already been set up so they might as well party.
Superman returns
While Clark is back, he hasn't made the world aware that Superman is back as well. During Superman & Lois season 4 episode 4, Jordan is able to pinpoint where Cheryl Kimble is, and he tells Jonathan to take Lois to her. When Jonathan takes Lois to Cheryl, she tells her that if she gives up Lex Luthor, she will be able to protect her. However, Cheryl declines her offer.
Later in the episode, Jordan gets to know that a building in Metropolis is on fire and sends Jonathan to help the people trapped there. However, it turns out to be a ploy from Luthor to kill Cheryl and one of his goons starts overpowering Jonathan.
This leads Superman to come and save him, risking his return to being leaked to the world. However, Clark sends the goon to the DOD so that he can't report back.
Superman & Lois season 4 episode 4 then ends with Chrissy and Kyle's party ending and Clark and Lois going back home to sleep. Jordan also gives his Superboy gear to Jonathan and states that he needs to figure out what he wants to do in life.
However, it looks like the media has already figured out that Superman is back, teasing that the world knows about his return.
Going forward, fans can expect to see the world react to Superman coming back from the dead - but this will bring in some major implications too. With Lex Luthor also getting to know this, he will definitely send Doomsday after Superman again, setting a rematch between the two.
