The fourth episode of Superman & Lois season 4, titled A Perfectly Good Wedding, premiered on October 21, 2024, on The CW Network. The episode focused on Clark returning to Smallville and reuniting with Lois and the kids after his death. With the Kent family having gone through so much, Lois then decides to hold Kyle and Chrissy's wedding in their barn.
Superman & Lois season 4 sets up the second half of the season in a huge manner. The episode not only sees the return of Clark but also sees Jonathan Kent become Superboy after Jordan gives him his gear. Lex Luthor's reaction to Superman's return
With Superman returning to the world of living after Lex Luthor killed him via Doomsday earlier in Superman & Lois season 4, the villain will potentially want to kill him again. Given that Lex Luthor has a deep hatred for Superman and knows he will interfere in his plans to get revenge on Lois, he will probably send Doomsday after Superman again.
So, alongside that, fans can also expect a rematch between Superman and Doomsday. However, this will certainly test Clark as a superhero because the first time he fought Doomsday, the monster ripped his heart out and killed him.
Not only will Lex Luthor be shocked to see Superman return, but the world will be stunned as well. Thus, it's possible that the show can also explore exactly what implications Superman's return from the dead has on the world of living.
Jonathan Kent as Superboy
Episode 4 of Superman & Lois season 4 saw Jordan decide that he has a lot to figure out in his own life and give his gear to Jonathan Kent. Thus going forward, fans can expect to see Jonathan Kent become Smallville's Superboy as well and try and help his father in doing good for the community.
