What happened in Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6?

Lex Luthor takes another huge loss

In the opening of Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6, viewers can see Lex Luthor still angry about his daughter leaving him for good. He then decides to bring the majority of Lexcorp to Smallville so that he can torment Lois Lane further. However, Lana Lang stops his plans. But Addie Manning has still agreed to sell her land to Lex, and this causes issues for the Kents and Lana Lang.

Clark and Lana then go to meet Addie, and she immediately recognizes Clark as Superman. She then backs away from the deal after a meeting with Luthor's ally Amanda. However, Lex arrives there and promises her $10 million in exchange for her land and a further $10 million to everyone in Smallville if they don't come in his way. But Smallville stands in his way, and Luthor backs away from the deal, disappointed.

Attempt on Lana's life

After the deal doesn't go through, Lex Luthor then makes good on his promise to come after Lana Lang in Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6. He sends one of his goons to her house to kill her, but Lana's daughter is able to save her in time. Clark and Lois then arrive at her house, and Clark is taken aback by the attempt on Lana's life and finally goes to confront Lex at his apartment in Smallville.

He calls Lex down and tells him to stop his madness. Lex then reveals that he has turned all the streetlights down on the road to emit Red Sun energy signals, and the two then engage in a street fight. Even though Clark is without his powers, he is able to win the fight against Lex. Back at home, the Kent family then decides to be aware all the time of Lex's next retaliation.

Lex then moves back to Metropolis after his defeat at the end of Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6. There he is met by Amanda, who tells him that he has been doing things the "wrong" way and that he needs to get a killer suit first.

The ending to Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6 effectively sets up Lex Luthor's warsuit to come in future episodes. In the comics, Lex's warsuit is one of the most iconic looks the character has had. A purple and green mechanical suit that levels the playing field between him and Superman whenever the two are set to throw down with each other.

In the teaser for Superman & Lois season 4, fans can also get to see Lex suiting up. However, as of now, it's unknown whether it's John Henry Irons' Steel suit, but fans can expect to see another showdown between Lex Luthor and the Man of Steel.

Clark's getting older

Superman & Lois season 4 episode 6 also further sets up the fact that Clark's revival did come with its own set of caveats. With him having a human heart now, it looks like Clark is going to start aging like a normal human. The episode sees him finally having gray hair come in and the fact that his hearing isn't as good as it used to be as well.

Other than that, the episode also sees Jordan go back on his decision to take things lightly. With the attempt made on Lana's life, he decides to start helping out more alongside Jonathan.
