Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 premiered on The CW Network on November 11, 2024. The episode saw Clark Kent and family try and do some damage control as the people in Smallville started getting suspicious of them having superpowers. This all stemmed from them seeing Superman die in front of a huge crowd and putting two-and-two together.
In Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7, the world finally gets to know that Clark Kent is actually Superman. This comes at the end of the episode when, after an encounter with Emmitt, folks in Smallville got to know Clark's superhero identity, and this forced his hand to reveal who he truly is to the world.

Clark struggles with maintaining his superhero identity
The entirety of Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 focuses on Clark trying to make sure that his superhero identity still remains a secret. He does so by convincing those who may know that he is human just like them. However, when Jonathan and Jordan are approached by Timmy, who claims to know about their superpowers as well, Clark finds himself in trouble.
He then asks Jordan and Jonathan about what happened with Timmy, and that's where Clark learns that Jonathan's girlfriend Candice knows about their secret (this was shown in episode 5) as well. This further causes issues among the boys and Clark as he is trying to protect their secret, but Jonathan and Jordan are being careless about it.
Lois then explains to Jonathan and Jordan that all his life Clark has just spent protecting his secret, and this is very important to him. The next day, Clark, alongside Jonathan and Jordan, goes over to Timmy's house to convince him that they don't have superpowers.
Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 introduces Jimmy Olsen
Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 also finally introduces Jimmy Olsen to the show. He is featured in flashbacks where the show again explores Clark trying to maintain his secret in his early days as a superhero. While still working at The Daily Planet, Clark gets invited to a softball game by Jimmy, but he doesn't go due to him knowing that he will technically still be cheating with his superpowers.
However, Lois convinces him to go and have fun, and he does. But he is once again called to action and mysteriously leaves the softball game, much to Jimmy's disappointment. Jimmy then questions Clark about being Superman as he notices that he always disappears whenever the Man of Steel is making a save. Clark politely tells him no, and Jimmy invites him to the final game to see if he is lying or not.
While Clark doesn't make it to the final game, he doesn't make any saves either, and Jimmy is then convinced that Clark actually isn't Superman.
How does the world find out that Clark is Superman?
When Clark and Lois learn that Kyle and Chrissy are having trouble buying their dream house, they decide to financially support them. While celebrating in the local diner, Candice's father Emmitt walks in and questions Clark about having superpowers. With Clark previously humiliating Emmitt, he is set on getting revenge on him and then pulls out a gun to prove his point.
Emmitt pulls the trigger, and Clark activates his super speed, having a moment to reflect on what he is about to do. He finally reveals his identity as Superman as he puts on his suit and lets the bullet hit him. The folks in the diner are shocked at this revelation, and Clark tells Lois that he is ready to tell the world the truth. It is revealed that it was Lex Luthor who told Emmitt about Clark.
The next morning, Clark has an interview with The Daily Planet where he reveals his identity live on air. Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 then ends with Clark going to meet Jimmy and telling him that he was right. The two friends then catch up on what they have been up to over the years.

Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 lays the framework for the final three episodes of the show. Going forward, it looks like the world is going to know about Clark's identity as Superman, and having nothing to hide now, this will allow Clark and his children to live their lives more freely. However, this revelation might also bring problems of its own.
There is also the threat of Lex Luthor, which still lingers over the Kent family. With his Warsuit being teased in episode 6, fans can certainly expect the villain to return in a huge way as well.
