What can fans expect from Superman & Lois season 4 episode 8?
Impact of Clark revealing his identity
In Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7, Clark Kent finds it difficult to keep his secret in Smallville after the whole Doomsday affair. This caused him to then convince others that he is just a human. However, when Emmitt shoots a gun at him, he is forced to reveal to Smallville that he is Superman after all.
He then reveals his identity to the world as he realizes that following that moment, he won't be able to keep his secret anymore. Going into Superman & Lois season 4 episode 8, fans can expect this to have a major impact on his life. With everyone knowing that he is Superman now, although he will not have to maintain a secret identity, it will change how Clark lives his life.
Superheroes maintain a secret identity so as not to bring any unwanted trouble, and therefore, this can have some negative impact on Clark as well.
Clark dealing with aging
Clark was brought back to life by General Lane injecting himself with Kryptonian blood and transferring his heart into Clark's body. While this did work, it also came with its own set of issues. This means that Clark isn't as strong as he used to be before, and is aging normally as well— something that was set up in episode 7 too.
Going forward, fans could potentially see Clark also deal with the fact that he is aging normally and is slowly turning into a human.
Lex's Warsuit
In episode 6, Lex Luthor was sent back to Metropolis after losing a fight against a depowered Clark. However, this effectively sets up the fact that he is going to receive his Warsuit— from the comics. Teased at the end of episode 6, Amanda told Lex that he needs a "killer suit", and he will likely be getting one.
In the comics, Lex uses his Warsuit to go toe-to-toe against Superman, and it looks like the final three episodes of the show will focus on that.
