Superman & Lois season 4 episode 7 recap
The seventh episode of Superman & Lois season 4 focused on Clark trying to convince the people of Smallville that he isn't Superman. The episode also showed a flashback to his days working at the Daily Planet where Jimmy suspected he was Superman, but Clark was eventually able to convince him that it wasn't the case. However, he lost out on his friendship with him due to this.
When Timmy confronts Jordan and Jonathan about them having superpowers, Clark becomes further concerned and also learns that Jonathan's girlfriend Candice knew about the secret as well. The next day, Clark goes with Jonathan and Jordan to Timmy's house to convince him otherwise and while the meeting goes well, Clark still remains worried.
However, his secret is eventually revealed when Candice's dad Emmitt learns about this too. Coming to get revenge on Clark by trying to out his identity, Emmitt shoots a gun at him in the diner. Knowing that he can't protect his secret anymore, Clark then reveals himself to Smallville as Superman with the bullet deflecting him. The next day, he learns that Lex Luthor told Emmitt about his identity.
Clark then decides to reveal his identity to the world and the episode ends with him meeting Jimmy Olsen telling him that he was right.
