Teacup season 1 premiered on October 10, 2024, with its first two episodes airing on Peacock. The show will air two new episodes every week, concluding with its final two episodes on Halloween.
Adapted from the novel Stinger by Robert R. McCammon, season 1 offers a chilling narrative where the threat remains mostly unseen but highly dangerous. This is the latest horror series produced by James Wan, known for his work in the genre, and showrunner Ian McCulloch.
Set in a remote farm in Georgia, the plot follows the Chenoweth family and their neighbors as they confront a mysterious evil on their remote Georgia farm. Maggie Chenoweth, a veterinarian, and her husband James are alarmed when their son, Arlo, returns from the woods and starts acting strange.
Arlo begins to speak in an unknown language, showing signs of being possessed by an alien entity. Maggie’s mother-in-law, Ellen, and daughter, Meryl, are also drawn into the escalating danger.
Their neighbors, Ruben Shanley, his wife Valeria, and their son Nicholas, join the search for answers.
The community faces strange occurrences, including animals behaving violently and the appearance of a masked man, McNab, who draws a mysterious blue line around the farm.
