The Halloween-themed Tell Me Lies season 2 episode 5 was released on Hulu on September 25, 2024. While the latest episode did not feature any gory scenes, it embraced the Halloween spirit with several twists and turns that could have strained some relationships and strengthened others.

One of the relationships that appears to have been strained by Lucy and Stephen's toxic tendencies in Tell Me Lies season 2 episode 5, is the one between Stephen and his sister, Sadie. Sadie, who arrived at Baird to celebrate Halloween with her brother, was hit with a rock when Lucy revealed Stephen's toxic behavior towards her. Sadie is angry with Stephen after she learns his truth in Tell Me Lies season 2 episode 5

Perhaps one of the few people Stephen can never really be toxic towards is his sister Sadie. However, in Tell Me Lies season 2 episode 5 that seems to have changed a bit.

When Sadie arrived at Baird in the latest episode of the series, she was not hoping for drama. But soon enough she was caught between Stephen and Lucy's mess. To top it off, Lydia, Lucy's best friend from childhood arrived too and actively took part in a blame game, alleging that Stephen ruined Lucy's life by being toxic towards her.

The entire episode then became about Sadie trying to take up these allegations with Stephen who constantly refuted them. However, when Stephen attempted to sever Lydia and Lucy's bond by revealing the things Lucy had said about Lydia in confidentiality during their relationship, Lucy snapped.

During a conversation with Sadie, Lucy gave her access to one of the voicemails Stephen had left her where he was talking to her in a damaging manner. Sadie heard the voicemail and later confronted her brother about the same again, this time believing Lucy.

Although Stephen denied being the bad person in the equation, it seemed that Sadie no longer saw her brother in the same light that she used to, even going so far as to say that Stephen was behaving like their mother.

What initially began as an affair between Bree and Oliver, seeming to demonstrate Bree's newfound control over her life despite the controversial nature of their relationship, appeared to have taken a turn for the worse in the show's latest episode.

In Tell Me Lies season 2 episode 5, it looked as though Bree was becoming increasingly entangled in Oliver's manipulative behavior. In the latest episode of Tell Me Lies, the audience got to see how easily influenced Bree can be, when Oliver arranged for a weekend getaway with her. The events that unfolded during their trip proved to be quite unpleasant.

Bree, who is just twenty years old, needed an ID card for drinks at a bar she went to with Oliver. Although the woman at the counter served the drinks, she urged them to go to a place that did not require identification the next time. However, Oliver, in a blatant display of dominance, did not pay heed to her concerns and kissed Bree.
