Territory is a new Australian neo-western drama series scheduled to launch on Netflix on October 24, 2024. The new series is created by Timothy Lee and Ben Davies. It is about the Lawson family suffering a succession crisis and the band of brothers fighting for control of the world's largest cattle station, Marianne Station.
The Lawson family fights for power and inter-generational conflict as cattle barons, gangsters, Indigenous elders, and mining magnates fight over the station. The show features Anna Torv as Emily Lawson, Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson, Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson, Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson, and many others.
Territory was filmed in the Northern Territory's remote regions, such as Kakadu National Park and Tipperary Station. The series, one of the largest Netflix productions to be filmed in South Australia, is directed by Greg McLean and produced by Easy Tiger Productions and Ronde Production.

1) Anna Torv as Emily Lawson
Anna Torv is playing Emily Lawson, one of the members of the Lawson family, who spent two decades of her life trying to keep the Marianne Station afloat. After the death of Daniel Lawson, she has to overcome the biggest crisis till now to keep her home.
Anna Torv is an Australian actress known for the sci-fi series Fringe, in which she played FBI agent Olivia Dunham. Later, she worked on popular projects such as Mindhunter and The Last of Us.
2) Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson
Michael Dorman is portraying the character of Graham Lawson. From the trailer for the show, we can see that his character is one of the central contenders in the dispute for controlling the world's largest cattle station.
Micheal Dorman was born in New Zealand. He has been an active part of the Australian entertainment industry for over two decades. His most notable works include For All Mankind, Patriot, and The Invisible Man.
3) Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson
Robert John Taylor is playing the role of Colin Lawson, the head of the Lawson family. Colin, along with his children has to deal with troubles on all fronts to keep their claim on the cattle station. The opening scene of the trailer for the show also hints that Colin is at odds with the indigenous people of that area.
Robert Taylor used to work on an oil rig before joining the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He started his acting career with the soap titled Home and Away in 1989. Since then he has been part of projects like Coffin Rock, The Matrix, The Hard Word, and Longmire.
4) Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson
Sam Corlett is playing Marshall Lawson, the carefree young member of the family, whose life takes a sharp turn after the death of his uncle Daniel Lawson, as he becomes one of the players in the squabble for land.
Sam Corlett, before being cast in Territory, has already gained prominence in the popular historical drama series Vikings: Valhalla as Leif 'Greenlander' Erikson. Before that, he played the Prince of Hell in the Netflix fantasy series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
5) Sara Wiseman as Sandra Kirby
Sara Wiseman is playing Sandra Kirby in Territory, an outsider who has a business interest in the Marianna Station. Her character would become one of the key figures in the drama as a businesswoman trying her luck at gaining a fortune.
Sara Wiseman is a New Zealand actress, who is known for around three decades of work in theatre, film, and television. In the mid-90s, she played parts in shows like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess, and Jackson's Wharf. She has also been part of films such as The Insatiable Moon, Love Birds, Nerve, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.
