The Acolyte episode 4 will premiere on Disney+ on Tuesday, June 18, at 6 pm PT.
Episode 3, titled Destiny, recently premiered on Disney+, and viewers got to know the backstories of twins Osha and Mae. Focusing on their relationship as kids on the planet of Brendok, the episode saw how the Jedi introduced themselves to the twins and what caused Mae to start the fire that ended up claiming several lives.
The simple reasoning behind Mae causing the fire in The Acolyte was that she didn't want Osha to go off with the Jedi, and thus decided to kill her sister. While it looked like Mae died in the fire as well, it was later revealed that she was alive.

With there being even more questions now about how Mae was able to survive her fall, and how the Jedi were involved in the fire, it's certain that many will be anticipating the next episode, whose title is yet to be revealed by the streaming service.

What to expect from The Acolyte episode 4?
Episode 3 of The Acolyte heavily focused on how Osha and Mae were separated from each other during childhood, so we can expect the upcoming episodes to delve more into their backstory. We can also expect to see exactly how Mae got in contact with the Sith master that she serves now, and how she developed a hatred for the Jedi.
Throughout the ending of episode 3, it is implied that the Jedi had something to do with the fire at Brendok, and that Mae wasn't solely responsible for it, and that can perhaps lead into her anger too. With episode 2 concluding on Mae setting course for a new planet to kill Kelnacca, it definitely does look like we might get a development on that story as well.
Episode 3 of the show also implies the fact that Osha and Mae are bound by the Force and are "one", which further leads into the theory that they might be a Force Dyad. However, while those details haven't been confirmed yet, the way they were born is certainly a mystery as Aniseya played coy about that detail.
