In Ukraine, Martian’s strategic advice altered the CIA’s rescue plan for Agent Coyote. A last-minute adjustment to the kill zone prevented the team from being overwhelmed, leading to the successful extraction of Coyote and the neutralization of key threats, including Russian Deputy Defense Minister Chekhov.

Sami was alive and rescued from Sudan's Kober prison, where she had been held captive and nearing death. Martian’s storyline shifted when an orchestrated motorcycle accident brought him face-to-face with MI6 agent James Richardson (Hugh Bonneville).

Richardson offered Martian a deal, ensuring the safety of Sami (Jodie Turner-Smith) in exchange for Martian’s cooperation with British intelligence. Martian agreed, securing Sami’s survival but compromising his allegiance to the CIA.

Danny completed her mission in Tehran, despite being detained and accused of espionage. Her composure and preparation, developed under the guidance of her case officer Naomi (Katherine Waterston), allowed her to maintain her cover and proceed with her assignment. The Agency episode 10 concluded the season with significant resolutions while setting up future challenges.

Richardson wants Martian to become an M15 asset and Martian kills Volchok and Russian troops in The Agency episode 10 explained

The official synopsis of the episode reads:

"As command of the operation shifts out his hands, Bosko shares a grim reality; Naomi receives troubling news out of Iran; Richardson runs a rogue operation; Felix gets overtaken by events; Martian, desperate, makes a devil's bargain."

The Agency episode 10 highlighted a series of high-stakes events, showcasing the tactical brilliance of Martian (Michael Fassbender), and his ability to adapt under pressure.

The initial plan for Coyote's extraction involved a kill zone at a clinic in Russian-occupied Ukraine, where Ukrainian operatives Charlie and Sasha were working undercover as part of Operation Felix. The mission was to intercept the handoff between General Volchok and Russian Deputy Defense Minister Chekhov, who planned to transport Coyote to Moscow.

Martian, upon learning Volchok would bring more troops than expected, revised the plan moments before a motorcycle accident orchestrated by MI5 agent James Richardson (Hugh Bonneville). He instructed Owen (John Magaro)— Coyote’s case officer— to move the kill zone 300 meters, shifting to guerilla tactics. This adjustment proved crucial, as the revised plan led to the elimination of dozens of Russian soldiers and the successful extraction of Coyote.

Sasha sacrificed himself by fatally shooting Chekhov, while Charlie and another operative destroyed Chekhov's helicopter, ensuring the mission's success.

Simultaneously, Martian's crash placed him under Richardson’s control. Richardson leveraged Samia’s (Jodie Turner-Smith) life, held captive in Sudan’s Kober prison, to coerce Martian into becoming an MI5 asset. Despite earlier doubts about Samia's importance to the CIA, Martian prioritized her safety, agreeing to the deal and compromising his allegiance to the agency.

Other notable developments in The Agency episode 10 include Danny’s first field mission in Tehran. Despite immediate detainment and interrogation, Danny’s training under Naomi (Katherine Waterston) enabled her to maintain her cover and proceed with her assignment. Her success underscored the season-long tension between Danny’s confidence and her case officer’s guidance.

The Agency episode 10 tied up several arcs, while setting the stage for future conflicts in season 2.
