The episode was filled to the brim with moments that had viewers shocked.

What can fans expect from The Boys season 4 episode 6?

Episode 5 of The Boys season 4 saw Butcher and Joe Kessler kidnap Sameer, Victoria Neuman's husband, who was also working on the Supe-killing virus. Considering that it remains unknown what happened to the virus at the farmhouse, Butcher kidnapped Sameer so that he could work on creating the virus for him.

Since Butcher desperately needs the virus to defeat Homelander as he is dying as well, we may see him go to some extreme lengths to get it. This wouldn't be out of the ordinary as he sawed off Sameer's leg just so that he could make Victoria believe that he was dead. With Butcher doing this away from The Boys as well, when they eventually get to know about this, their relationship will sour too.

There is also the question of what Victoria is up to, as when Stan was being taken back to jail, she saved him.

A more dangerous The Seven

At the beginning of the episode, we saw Homelander try to connect further with Ryan and give him the freedom to choose what he wants in his life. This came as a direct result of him finally coming to terms with his past, and at the end, when the leak at Vought was pinned on Cameron Coleman, he asked the Supes to be wrathful gods.

Given that Homelander is letting The Seven loose, we can perhaps see a more aggressive side of that group going forward. However, A-Train seemed considerably uncomfortable with the situation, so the question can also be raised whether he will be leaving The Seven or not.

Hugie mourning his father's death

Hughie's mom, Daphne, ended up giving Compound V to Hugh, which led to him waking up from his coma, but it also saw him gain powers and lose control of himself. This led to the death of many innocent people in the hospital, and Hughie had to calm his dad down. He realized that his father dying would be the only way to solve the issue at hand.

So, Hugh agreed to die and Hughie made peace with the fact. Given that this is the biggest loss Hughie has faced since season 1, we can see him mourn his dad's death in the coming week. His mom also gave him her engagement ring, and perhaps fans might even see Hughie ask Annie to marry him.

Fans can check out The Boys season 4 episode 6, titled Dirty Business, when it premieres next week on July 4, 2024, on Prime Video.
