The Couple Next Door season 2 expected plot

In season 2 of The Couple Next Door, Charlotte Roberts is a heart surgeon played by Annabel Scholey, and her husband Jacob is a consultant anesthetist, played by Sam Palladio. Their seemingly perfect life gets disrupted when Mia (Aggy K Adams), a mysterious new neighbor, arrives.

Mia quickly gains Charlotte and Jacob's trust, but her true intentions become clear as she gets deeper into their lives and their marriage.

Complicating matters further, Mia becomes friends with Alan, who is an outsider in the neighborhood. At the same time, Charlotte has to deal with her ex, Leo, coming back. Things get intense when Mia's difficult past comes back, and mysterious deaths start occurring at their hospital.

The first season of The Couple Next Door showed Pete (played by Alfie Enoch) and Evie (played by Eleanor Tomlinson), a young couple who moved to a nice neighborhood in Leeds for a new beginning.
