Bianca remained relentless in her pursuit of the Jackal throughout the series. However, unbeknownst to her, a mole in her department, her superior Isabel (Lia Williams), was undermining her. She intended to use Bianca as a tool to eliminate the Jackal but also aimed to pin the murders on her to discharge her from government service.
Without this knowledge, Bianca was lured into tracking the Jackal to his Spain home. However, the Jackal realized that someone was trespassing on his home and killed Bianca at the end of the finale episode.
Following this, the show delved deeper into the tragedy surrounding Bianca's death. Isabel went on with her plan, giving a public media statement that Bianca had not been authorized to pursue the Jackal.
Did the Jackal finally tell Nuria the truth about his identity in The Day of the Jackal finale?
When the Jackal returned home to Spain, Nuria was waiting to have a conversation with him. She asked him if he was the hitman whose picture the media had been circulating, leading him to finally admit his double identity to her. Shocked, Nuria vented her pent-up emotions at her husband, asking him if he realized how much risk he was pushing their family into.
The Jackal promised Nuria that he had one hit left, and then he would stop killing for good. Yet, when the threat of being caught loomed large, she took her son and hastily left their home, trying to ensure her family's safety first.

How did the Jackal kill Ulle Dag Charles?
After the attempt on his life at the Tallinn concert hall, Ulle Dag Charles (UDC) retreated to his island home and amped up the security around his house. The Jackal decided to take a boat and started killing off the security personnel around the island. He used a steady-cam rig to mount one of his guns to create stability as well as mobility for his shooting. As UDC went out for a swim with one of his guards, the Jackal aimed for him in the water and finally managed to complete his assigned assassination.
However, the Jackal's escape from UDC's Croatian home was one with many hurdles. He was almost caught at one of the checkpoints he passed and was then involved in a car accident. A nearby truck driver came to his aid and helped him reach a caravan, which the Jackal used to cross the country's borders.

What happened to Bianca at the end of The Day of the Jackal?
In the finale, Bianca was told that the investigation into the Jackal and his assassinations was being shut down. However, she felt that it would not be wise to abandon the lead they got that the Jackal might be soldier Alexander Duggan. After a conversation with her husband, Bianca felt more determined to take charge of her professional life to prevent it from collapsing like her personal life. She decided to track the Jackal on her own and resign from her position as a federal agent.
However, unknown to her, Bianca's superior, Isabel, was part of a greater conspiracy involving the Jackal. She approached Bianca with a second chance to pursue her target, which she accepted. Isabel planned to eliminate the Jackal as an unpredictable element in her mission and then use his death as an excuse to dishonorably discharge Bianca from service.
Bianca traveled to Spain to track the Jackal and made it to his home shortly after Nuria left. Unfortunately, the Jackal returned home from his mission at the same time. After realizing that there were trespassers in his home, the Jackal killed Bianca and her teammate Vince in the climax of the episode.
When news of Bianca's death reached her headquarters, she was made a scapegoat, exactly as Isabel planned. The public statement claimed that Bianca had gone rogue and pursued the Jackal freely, not authorized by the government.
