The Dragon Prince Season 6 is the latest edition of Netflix's epic fantasy series and is set to be aired on July 26, 2024. This season consists of nine episodes, delving into the “Mystery of Aaravos” saga. Created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond, the series is said to be renewed for a seventh season which will be its conclusion.
The fifth season premiered on July 22, 2023. It ends with the heroes successfully finding Aravos' prison and preventing him from being released into the world. In the process of capturing the prison, Claudia is injured, while Viren finds himself in a dilemma of whether to continue down the path of revenge. The last season's ending left the fans eager to know more about the many questions that had been unanswered.
Season 6 titled "Book Six: Stars," delves more into this fantasy world as seen in the trailer. We see a reference to Icarus in the beginning of the trailer and Callum is either blinded by dark magic or trying to reach the arcanum of the stars.
What to expect in The Dragon Prince Season 6
In The Dragon Prince season 6, we find that after getting Team Zym, Callum is delving more into the darkness. In the trailer, we see a scene of a possessed Callum, and Aravos smiling in a sinister manner behind them. With Aaravos free now, it would be interesting to see if Callum is getting controlled or taken over by him again. While Aravos poses a significant danger, we don't have much clue about his true intentions.
In the previous seasons, the star on Aravos' chest was dark and pointed downwards. This symbolized the punishment of being a fallen star. However, in The Dragon Prince Season 6 trailer, the star is bright and pointing upside down, which might mean his star is back shining in the sky.
Runaan's fate is uncertain, as he is trapped inside the coin that is still in Rayla's possession. But in the trailer, we see a fighting sequence in them, which is tragic as we know of Rayla's painful past.
Fans are eager to find out if Rayla is truly fighting Runaan or if Aravos is involved in it. In the trailer, there is also a scene of Claudia screaming so loudly that it can be heard over the background music.
Fans are left with many questions about how this season will go. Did Terry leave Claudia? Is Soren on his way to Claudia or someone else, and why is he taking Zym?
The Dragon Prince season 6, gets darker and crazier than season 5 and that's why fans are much more excited for its release. Fans await to see if Callum is able to hold the power or will succumb to it.

"I hoping that in season 6 we get to see Aaravoses side of the story where our heroes and Zubeia are forced to Realize that while Aaravos may not be a good guy he isnt exactly the bad guy either and witness just what that does to everyone when they are forced to confront the truths that were hidden from them." - said one Reddit user.
Similarly, another user @Icy-Emotion2898 writes,
"In my opinion i don’t think Callum & Rayla would have kids biologically theirs. I think it would be cute if they adopted kids. Since Callums an orphan and Rayla was also one temporarily. They would adopt a kid hoping to give them the life and parents they might have never had." - said another Reddit user.
The Dragon Prince season 6 will be available for streaming on Netflix on July 26, 2024.
