The Dragon Prince season 7 is scheduled to be released on Netflix on December 19, 2024. Titled Dark, this 9-episode chapter will bring the second saga of the series, Mystery of Aaravos, to its conclusion. The last season of the popular animated fantasy series showed the backstory of Aaravos. It revolved around the tragic circumstances that led him to embark on the mission of vengeance which ultimately turned him into an evil entity.

The Dragon Prince season 7: Cast members and the characters they voice
1) Jack DeSena as Callum
One of the most important characters of the series, Callum, had a significant personal journey in season 6. Although his plan to destroy the prison of Aaravos, thereby destroying him as well, failed, his romance with Rayla bloomed.
Jack DeSena is a voice actor who has worked in films like The Wild (2006), JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time (2014), and shows like Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005-2008), Lego Monkie Kid (2020-present), among others.
2) Paula Burrows as Rayla
Both Callum and Rayla have been the chosen ones tasked with momentous responsibilities. They try to stop Aaravos together and soon find themselves in love.
Their partnership will play a major role in The Dragon Prince season 7. Paula Burrows, the voice behind the character, is known for Firebug (2025) and The Dangers of Online Dating (2017).

3) Sasha Rojen as Ezran
Callum's younger half-brother, Ezran, takes the throne of Katolis in season 3. However, he is one of the youngest characters in the series. He has the ability to communicate with and understand the feelings of animals. Canadian actress Sasha Rojen is the voice actor behind Ezran. She is also a competitive gymnast who represented British Columbia in 2015, 2016, and 2017 at the Western Canadian Gymnastics championship.
4) Racquel Belmonte as Claudia
Claudia's character has seen dramatic shifts as she started off as a skilled dark magician but then gave it up when her father, Viren, asked her to. In a bid to extend his life, she ended up freeing Aaravos in season 6. It sets such events into motion that will determine the plot of season 7. Racquel Belmonte, the voice of Claudia, is also known for Snowpiercer (2020) and Heart of Dance (2013).

5) Jesse Inocalla as Soren
Viren's son and Claudia's older brother, Soren, is the head of the elite Crownguard of Katolis. A talented swordsman, he is the youngest member of the Crownguard in history. Though he followed his father's wicket path initially, later, he started using his skills to restore peace at Xadia. Inocalla is known for projects like Totally Killer (2023) and LEGO Chima (2013), among others.
