The Equalizer is an American crime drama television series that airs via CBS. It premiered in February 2021 and is based on a reboot of another series of the same name, created by showrunners Michael Sloan and Richard Lindheim.

The current reboot has been co-created and produced by Queen Latifah, John Davis, John Fox, Debra Martin Chase, Andrew Marlowe and Terri Miller. The Equalizer revolves around Robyn McCall, a former CIA operative. Robyn leaves her former job to become a street vigilante in pursuit of justice for those who don't get results from legal means but still need aid. Robyn is a single mother, which spurs her to act as a guardian angel for those who cannot defend themselves.
