The Equalizer season 5 episode 3 brought another standalone story into the fold of the vigilante drama and took the individual characters' lives forward. The audience last saw Robyn hoping for a better team to work with, and now she has a duo if not a full team: with Harry.

The episode revolved around the story of a missing online personality and social worker. This time Harry took the lead in the mission, giving Robyn some space to breathe, but she was equally instrumental.
Robyn talked down a young, scared model named Sarah who was pointing a gun at them. Without Robyn having his back, Harry would have had a tough time navigating his way around Sarah without getting seriously injured.
What was the mission on The Equalizer season 5 episode 3?
The episode started with a shot of a girl in a gown, who was weeping and shackled to the floor. That set the scene for Robyn and Harry's mission in The Equalizer season 5 episode 3.
Robyn and Harry were informed that a young social worker named Lily Evans had gone missing. They decided to look for her and tracked her phone to a halfway house. They found a video of Lily looking terrified about something and realised that she had built an online persona around herself. She was essentially living a double life: one as a mother and social worker and another as her online identity.
Harry decided to take the lead in the mission and went undercover. He took on the role of a content creator himself as he decided to investigate the content management agency Lily was associated with.

What did Harry find out after being undercover in The Equalizer season 5 episode 3?
Harry took over the role of playing a music content creator to get in touch with the content management agency. Pretending to be an online personality, he got into the company headquarters, where he copied many files on a drive before leaving.
Harry and Robyn tried to use the information to narrow down on their suspect: the person who might have taken Lily hostage. However, the lead didn't materialise, even after Robyn had interviewed the suspect.
After a bit more research, Harry and Robyn realised that another model named Sarah had gone missing. She was associated with the same company. That led Robyn to realise that it was the company who was essentially trafficking its own employees.

What happened when Robyn and Harry tried to save Lily and Sarah in The Equalizer season 5 episode 3?
Robyn and Harry start working on new theories and a list of suspects to track down the two missing girls. They narrowed it down on the suspect and finally saved Lily and Sarah.
However, it was made difficult by the fact that Sarah had pulled a gun on Robyn out of self-preservation instincts. Robyn assured Sarah of her safety and got her to put down the gun, avoiding chances of fatalities or injuries, before Robyn and Harry got the girls back to safety.

What were the storylines with the associates of the vigilantes in The Equalizer season 5 episode 3?
The episode also briefly focused on other storylines apart from the Lily Evans case and Robyn and Harry's attempts to solve it. Aunt Viola made a brief appearance, where she was attending a meeting for a new outreach program.
During the meeting, an officer casually said that they were at threat because of vigilantes like The Equalizer. Angry at that, Aunt Viola wanted to step up and defend the vigilantes, especially Robyn. However, one of Viola’s friends who had accompanied her, stopped the irate woman from outing Robyn as a vigilante.
Meanwhile, Mel was seen going to therapy for her mental health and PTSD after being a part of the team. She also spent some more time with Delilah, trying to process her trauma, and sharing a shoulder with Delilah. Since she needs more help, it might be some time before Mel returns to the team.
Meanwhile, Marcus was seen knee deep in work at his new job in Los Angeles. He also made a brief appearance and mainly seemed worried about the team now that he was not there to look after them. He also seemed to miss Robyn, a continuation of their conversation from the first episode of the season.
It remains to be seen if Marcus still decides to prioritise his job and maintain his distance. The character might decide that missing the team is too much for him and abandon his job on the West Coast for good.
