What is the story so far on The Equalizer?

The Equalizer has been exploring the equalizing team and the various cases they have been involved in during their vigilante justice streak. At the beginning of the fifth and current season, Robyn McCall felt the absence of her team as she had to deal with her first case alone.

Dante had taken up a job in Los Angeles, Mel was in therapy, and Harry had a case of his own to crack.

However, her team slowly reassembled around her, with Harry assisting her on cases regularly after that. In recent episodes, Mel also returned to the field, feeling much more adept at dealing with the challenges surrounding her. Though Dante still has his Los Angeles job, he has also been in town for the last two episodes to deal with the aftermath of his father's surgery.

The most recent episode of The Equalizer mainly focused on Robyn's feelings for Dante and how she was dealing with them. She wanted to give her ex-husband Miles a chance and reunite with her family.

However, Robyn also struggled with her growing feelings for Dante, especially after meeting him in town after the surgery. This might be an important decision for Robyn in the plot ahead.

Audiences can watch The Equalizer season 5 episode 6, on December 1, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET. New episodes of the series are released weekly every Sunday on CBS.
