What has happened in The Legend of Vox Machina season 3 so far?
In episode 1 of season 3, Raishan meets Vox Machina and makes it clear that she wants to bring down Thordak because the latter betrayed her once. She tells the members of Machina that the fierce leader of the Chroma Conclave is planning to bring up a series of new dragons to rule the land.
Vax goes to Thordak’s den to investigate, and he confirms that Raishan was not lying, after all. Following this, Vox Machina sets out to retrieve a powerful plate that would help them in their battle against Thordak. The plate is located in Ank'Harel, where Gilmore comes to their aid.
However, in Ank'Harel, the team bumps into Anna Ripley who has her own plans pertaining to the plate. She flees with the plate. However, later, the ruler of Ank'Harel, J'mon Sa Ord, tells them that Ripley has the fake plate, while the genuine one is currently in the Hells of Despa.
In episode 3 of The Legend of Vox Machina season 3, Vox Machina sets out to acquire the original plate. However, they are betrayed by Dohla, who holds a grudge against Kima and Allura. The episode ends with Vorugal abruptly arriving at the spot, killing Dohla, and trapping Allura, Vex, and Percy in the mountain.
