All ten episodes of The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 released simultaneously on Thursday, October 17, 2024, on Netflix. Like its previous seasons, this season too has been had positive responses from audiences who have been equally surprised and shocked with the occurrences in the show.

One of the most striking scenes from The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 that has got fans talking is Neil Bishop's death scene, where after testifying against DEA agent James de Marco, Bishop took out a gun from his sock and shot himself.

The audiences believe that the reason behind his unforeseen response was the extreme guilt he had been living with following aiding De Marco in his violent activities. They also believe that Bishop feared for his life after revealing De Marco's true nature and shot himself before his people could come after him.

In The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 Manuel Garcia-Rulfo's Mickey Haller represented Julian La Cosse in court, who was reprimanded for the murder of Gloria Dayton also known as Glory Days.

Mickey was certain that Cosse was not at fault, therefore he brought in several key witnesses during her hearing who could prove her innocence. One of the key informants in Cosse's case was ex-LAPD officer Neil Bishop, who Mickey was certain could help tip the scales in their favor.

Mickey knew of DEA agent James de Marco's involvement in Gloria's case and wanted Bishop to testify against him. However, it wasn't easy to get Bishop to speak against De Marco.

Before Bishop would testify in the case, Mickey had to show him a video that depicted De Marco and Bishop placing bags of drugs in the house of one of the case's key witnesses in an effort to frame them.

Baffled by the video, Bishop testified against De Marco and revealed to those in court that he had been working closely with De Marco for years. He also confirmed that he believed De Marco's involvement in Gloria's death, revealing that De Marco had asked Bishop for her details. He also revealed that soon after De Marco found her, Gloria was found dead.

Bishop also revealed that the incident had taken a toll on him, as he held himself responsible for her death. While breaking down, Bishop pulled out a gun from his socks and shot himself to potentially end his mental turmoil and save himself from the repercussions of his testimony.
