What is the plot of The Madness?
The primary plot of The Madness revolves around Muncie Daniels, an eminent CNN news reporter, who takes a retreat in the mountains of Poconos to write his book. But his seemingly peaceful vacation goes astray when he finds the dismembered body of a white man, on the house right next to his cabin.
Muncie has a past of activism against racial hatred, and the victim murdered was an influential white extremist, hence all the suspicions end up pointing fingers at him. Muncie soon comes under the radar of not just the police, but also the federal agents.
Things take a graver turn when the killers behind the murder of Mark Simon, belonging to a criminal mafia known as The Froge, track down Muncie and attempt to eliminate him. He soon finds himself unraveling the secrets and inner workings of powerful business moguls.
In order to set himself free, Muncie must expose billion-dollar corrupted companies and the group of people working behind them.
The Madness is a miniseries that covers the journey of a civilian who turns himself into the world of corrupt politics and ruthless crimes, only to prove himself innocent. The story also becomes Muncie's journey to truly understand himself, learn his true priorities, and unite with his family back again.
