Additional details about the Man in the Yellow's warning

In season 3, the Man in Yellow tells Jim that his wife, Tabitha, shouldn't have dug that hole. This line alludes to the first season when Jim was warned over a CB radio that Tabitha's digging would cause problems. At first, the warning seemed ambiguous, but as the play progressed, it became clear how important Tabitha's actions were.

The Man in Yellow then proceeds to kill Jim by slashing his throat.

But Tabitha search wasn't for moot. It led her to discover the town's subterranean tunnels, which are linked to its dark mysteries. The tunnels house not just the monsters, but also the children who were sacrificed in return for immortality. The Man in Yellow's warning implies that Tabitha's finding has the potential to reveal these secrets and upset the peculiar reality of Fromville.
