The Office continues to be a beloved sitcom, even though the show ended its nine-season run 11 years ago in 2013. Shot as a mockumentary, the show is set within a mundane office, portraying an equally dull office life. However, there are plenty of funny moments, rivalries, and pranks between the co-worker-turned-friends. One of those iconic frenemy pairings is John Krasinski's Jim Halpert and Rainn Wilson's Dwight Schrute.
And while Jim Halpert is mostly the mastermind of some of the funniest schemes against Dwight in The Office, there are plenty of times when Dwight gets his revenge on Jim.
From meatballs to snowballs, here are five of the best pranks Dwight pulled off on Jim in The Office.
5 of Dwight's best pranks on Jim in The Office
1) The soccer match with Charles Miner
Charles Miner (Idris Elba) had come to Dunder Mifflin in Season 5 as the new boss in the office while Michael Scott (Steve Carell) was absent. As Jim desperately tried to suck up to the new boss, he told him that he loved soccer. However, when Jim fumbled with soccer terminology, Dwight decided to cease the opportunity as he heard his office nemesis lying.
Trying to embarrass Jim in front of their new boss, Dwight set up an after-work soccer match. During the game, Jim stayed away from the ball because, in truth, he didn't know how to play. However, Charles passed him the ball at one point, and when Jim ducked, the ball went flying towards Phyllis's face.
Charles, who already did not like Jim, began to despise him further after the match, resulting in a successful prank by Dwight.
2) Employee of the month
In Season 6 Episode 12, titled "Scott's Tots," Jim's brilliant 'Employee of the Month' idea got him in hot water with his co-workers. With Jim as the newly promoted co-manager, Dwight planned to take him down, which he did by convincing Jim to create an Employee of the Month program. He helped Jim start the program by giving him an anonymous rundown of everyone in the office and their work performance.
What Jim didn't know was that Dwight made sure Jim received the highest numbers and Pam, his wife, (Jenna Fischer) the second highest. He also had people at the office chip in a few bucks as a reward for the awardee, all without telling Jim about the cash prize.
When it was time for Jim to award the Employee of the Month, he ended up calling his own name. Shocked, he tried to explain that it was a mistake and corrected it by pulling another number for the award, which happened to be Pam. The rest of the office became understandably furious, thinking that he had rigged the whole thing.
Meanwhile, Dwight covered his tracks by making his co-worker Andy (Ed Helms) believe that the Employee of the Month program was Jim's idea.

3) Free meatballs
Dwight got the better of Jim in another prank in Season 8 Episode 12, titled "Pool Party," in The Office. Without Pam as an audience, Jim focused his efforts on making Stanley (Leslie David Baker) laugh, and the only pranks that seemed to get him to laugh were those related to meatballs.
So, in a bid to entertain Stanley with his pranks against Dwight, Jim filled Dwight's drawers with meatballs. Meanwhile, when Dwight found his in that state, he was extremely annoyed, making Jim think that his prank was successful.
However, after work, Dwight and Stanley came together, revealing that they had previously allied to trick Jim into pranking Dwight with meatballs. This allowed them to collect those meatballs for themselves. Even though Dwight got "meatballed," he got them for free, winning in the end.
4) Expensive flowers for Pam
Jim decided to trick Dwight into pranking him in Season 8 Episode 10, titled "Christmas Wishes". In order to do so, he loudly revealed his credit card details while on a call and saw Dwight taking notes of his credit card information. Jim wanted Dwight to steal his credit card details so that he would end up purchasing something ridiculous.
Jim's plans turned out to be successful when Dwight used Jim's credit card, to purchase a bouquet of flowers for Pam worth $200. In the end, Dwight got the upper hand in the prank war because not only was Jim out of $200, but also he could not undo the purchase or claim that it was a mistake because the flowers after all, were for his wife.
5) Snowball attack
Season 7 Episode 11, titled "Classy Christmas," saw Dwight pranking Jim to the point that he got a nosebleed and grew anxious of getting hit by a snowball.
It all started with Jim attacking Dwight with a snowball inside their office after Dwight made fun of him for getting excited about the snowfall. This frustrated Dwight and led him to challenge his office nemesis to a snowball fight.
Dwight was determined and Jim underestimated him, so when Jim went out, he found himself locked out of the building. Moments later, Dwight emerged from a snowman he had been hiding in. He then began to relentlessly throw snowballs at Jim, leaving him with a bloody nose.
The snowball fights didn't end there as, Dwight kept throwing snowballs whenever Jim dropped his guard. While Jim tried to admit defeat, Dwight refused to end the fight and continued to torment him, and by the end of the workday, Jim became too afraid to go out in fear of getting bombarded with snowballs.
As Jim and Pam left the office after work, they saw the parking lot populated with lots of snowmen. Thinking that Dwight would emerge from any of them, Jim frantically smashed every snowman while Dwight who was on the roof, observed the spectacle, completely amused by it, and said:
"In the end, the greatest snowball insn't a snowball at all. It's fear."
