The second episode of The Penguin set the stage for what's to come next. The episode, which was titled Inside Man, ended with Sofia Falcone proposing a team-up with Oswald Cobb after being undermined by the family, and it looks like Falcone and Penguin are going to be working side-by-side to make sure that their presence is known.
With the third episode of The Penguin, titled Bliss, set to premiere on October 6, 2024, on Max and HBO - fans can expect a lot to happen. Most importantly, fans can expect to see the beginnings of what Oswald and Sofia's partnership would look like and how they will be going up against the extended Falcone family.
Alongside that, fans can also expect to see a bit more of who Victor is and how he is dealing with this major change in his life working as Oswald's enforcer and involving himself in a life of crime.

What can fans expect from The Penguin episode 3?
Oswald and Sofia teaming up
The second episode of The Penguin saw Sofia Falcone challenge the Falcone family's decision as they weren't going after the killer of Alberto. However, when Oswald frames a random Falcone goon as Alberto's killer, Sofia demands that she get to kill him - but her choice is robbed when her uncle Luca Falcone.
This led to Sofia getting disappointed and arguing that she should have been the one to pull the trigger, however, Luca rather decided to send her away undermining her as a part of the family. Prior to this, Johnny Vitti had questioned her choices too which led Oswald to tell her that she should be the one running things.
By the end of the episode, Sofia decides to team up with Oswald, recognizing that he hates the Falcone family too - and thus they both team up to make sure that the Falcone family won't take anything from them. However, given that Oswald is working with the Maronis too, it's surely going to be a tough balancing act for him.
Backstory about Victor Aguilar
Victor Aguilar is a brand new character created just for The Penguin, and not much is known about him aside from the fact that he wants to get into the big leagues and make a name for himself as well. In the second episode, fans got to see a bit more of him as he struggled to pull off a job and got cold feet at the last moment which led to Oswald getting into danger.
However, the promo for the next episode promises that fans will get to see more of him, and perhaps a little bit of his backstory too. Given that we have just seen Victor working alongside Cobb so far, fans will surely like to see more of who he is and where he comes from as well.
Complications for Oswald
In The Penguin episode 3 and onwards, fans can also expect to see things get complicated for Oswald. As he is playing both, the Maronis and the Falcones, things are surely going to get complicated for him given that he is working for rival crime families simultaneously.
Also with him working with Sofia, and him having killed Alberto, it's only a bit until she gets to know the truth about him.
