The Rings of Power season 2 episode 6 ending: Eregion is on the verge of a siege
The episode opens with Adar and his plan to enlist Galadriel's help in his battle against Sauron. In the previous episode, he argues that he and Galadriel have the same enemy: Sauron. He adds that joining hands would increase their chances of victory.
Further, in The Rings of Power season 2 episode 6, Adar shows Galadriel another weapon he intends to use against Sauron: Morgoth’s crown. He previously used the crown to harm Sauron, as shown in episode 1. Adar states that with the elves' rings and Morgoth's crown, he and Galadriel could defeat Sauron entirely.
Adar suggests they immediately leave, mount a vicious attack on Eregion, and take Sauron by surprise. Galadriel, however, hesitates; she believes Sauron wants Adar to do the same so he can take over the orc army once Adar reaches Eregion with it.
Adar disregards Galadriel’s concern and marches to Eregion, preparing to sack the place with his orc army. The last part of the episode shows Eregion being bombarded with huge balls of fire shot via catapults. The attack does not agitate Sauron. Instead, it seems to please him. Galadriel’s fears were not unfounded, after all.

What is Sauron up to now?
For much of The Rings of Power season 2, Sauron has been in the guise of Annatar, manipulating Celebrimbor into making more and more rings. Episode 6 is no different.
Celebrimbor temporarily stops making rings because he runs out of Mithril. Sauron goes to the dwarves to obtain more Mithril for Celebrimbor to continue crafting rings for men. However, he returns empty-handed, as King Durin is unwilling to give him the Mithril.
However, Sauron is undeterred. He creates a sort of Mithril out of his own blood, and as the episode ends, he hands it over to Celebrimbor. Naturally, the rings made of the new substance would carry some traces of Sauron’s personality.
Moreover, Sauron also tricks Celebrimbor into believing all is well in Eregion. He magically alters the elements of nature and presents the picture of a peaceful Eregion to Celebrimbor. Consequently, Celebrimbor goes back to making the rings. However, Eregion is being sacked by the orcs led by Adar, and Celebrimbor has no idea about it.

The new episode brings updates about the Stranger and Miriel
In Rhûn, the Stranger is getting impatient, thinking Nori might be in danger without him. However, Tom Bombadil encourages the Stranger to consider the bigger picture and let go of his current minor concerns. It is evident that the Stranger will experience a significant transformation under the guidance of Tom Bombadil, who is considered the wisest character in all of Middle Earth.
Meanwhile, in Númenor, fresh political developments are afoot. Following the events portrayed in The Rings of Power season 2 episode 5, the latest episode shows Phârazon cornering Elendil, leaving the latter’s fate on the Valar.
Elendil refuses to bow down to Phârazon and reach a compromise, despite Miriel’s repeated requests. At last, Miriel intervenes, saying she should be punished instead of Elendil, since the latter has always worked under Miriel.
The Númenor episode takes an intriguing turn when Miriel’s life is spared by the seaworm. The people of Númenor take it as the divine acknowledgment of the fact that Miriel is the worthy ruler of Númenor. This, naturally, puts Phârazon in a tough spot.
